Gorgeous

$250.00

Arrangement for small orchestra and vocal soloist of the song ‘Gorgeous’ from the musical ‘The Apple Tree.’ This arrangement is in A major, up a step from the original (in G). This arrangement changes various orchestrations from the original in that the Brass and String writing play different notes of the chord, sometimes double lines, or some lines are omitted to make things for this ensemble clearer.

There are 5 Woodwinds and 3 of those need to double other instruments (see below). Guitar is also added (reading chords and slashes) and Piano could read from that part as well, if desired. Includes a part for 1 or more Violin (no Violin II - they should all read from the same part simply marked ‘Violin’), 1 or more Vla, 1 or more Cello, and 1 or more Double Bass. There is only 1 Percussion player but calls for Timpani, among other instruments. Orchestration is for high voice and orchestra.

’The Apple Tree’ - The musical is a series of three scenes with music by Jerry Bock and lyrics by
