Bei Mir Bist Du Schön

Written for an early 1932 Yiddish musical comedy, ‘I Would If I Could’, the tune became a late ‘30s sensation, as did the three Andrews Sisters who recorded it. The tune is sometimes called ‘Bei Mir Bistu Shein,’ ‘Bei Mir Bist Du Schoen,’ ‘Hey, Mr. Shane,’ and several other variations.
