At Church [Tchaikovsky]

‘At Church’ (sometimes called ‘In Church’) is a short piano piece written by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. This piece is number 24 from a collection called Album for the Young, Op. 39, first published in 1878. It is a slow, sobering solo piano piece, suggestive of the grand, cold cathedrals in which Russian orthodox priests would waft burning incense down the long aisles in Russia.
