Litt

Litt is a short work that moves through quick right-hand passagework around a series of tonal pitch cell structures as the left hand provides counterbalance in defining the ambiguous harmonic progressions. It gives the impression of sparks flying off from a steadily churning and always revolving wheel of motion set-up in the spinning upper part of the keyboard. Deliberately short, its strength lies in its brevity and quiet delicacy that contains a unique sound world all its own – possessing depth in its wanderings, and almost spiritual in its glowing aura.
