O Holy Night (arr. May 2012) is an arrangement for orchestra and an optional solo singer (and background choir) of the popular public domain carol. The vocal melody is cued throughout the different sections of the orchestra for performances without a singer.
This arrangement features beautiful passing harmonies in a predominante String accompaniment texture with occasional Woodwind and Horn counterlines in a delicate, religious setting. It climaxes in a modulation from G major to Fm at the Bridge (highest note is Eb) and has optional choral parts in the last half of the arrangement that are also cued throughout in the rest of the orchestra.
