28. Bog’s Tale, 4.02

Bog’s Tale (composed July 2013) is a vividly complex duet for piano and flute. It is a highly vigorous, rhapsodic and poetic eclectic work. Exuberant and irrepressible melodic fragments are energetically tossed about, often as snatches of carried away filigree and repetitive structures pose strong colorful effects in a forceful, virtuosic work, one that is highly contrasted and offer stark dissonances with ripples of shimmering, fleeting scalular disjointed lines unexpectedly and convincing take form into a highly individualized style. It is splashy, aggressive, urban to its core.
