11. Ethanol, 3.34

Ethanol (composed May 2013) is a chamber piece for Strings and Flute that display harsh, confronting overtones and partials that exploit the functionality and opulence of spectral music in this distinctively alluring and transparent work.

Hushed, veiled tones are intermittently dispersed into the atmosphere in a gassy, cluster ball of fiery piquant colors and whistling motion. Wading through the materials the effiefences of the piece is linked to silent, dead spots and dramatic flavors of introverted contours of compelling skill and soft, angular expressionisms.
